Monday, October 12, 2009 at 16:04
The Lutgert Companies announced the grand opening of Spectacles, a full service upscale optical center at The Mercato in North Naples. Spectacles, a locally owned family business, makes its debut in approximately 1,000 square feet located adjacent to GiGi’s.

Spectacles focuses on “redefining your view” by providing high-end personalized customer service in a swanky showroom setting with Italian stone flooring and displays of more than 2,000 of the latest style frames. Designers such as Chanel, Prada, Lafont, Tiffany, Silhouette, Alain Mikli and many more are offered. Eye exams are performed at all-in-one high-tech computer stations and free- form technology lenses provide for a more precise product. In keeping with many sunny days of Southwest Florida, a collection of unique sunglasses is also presented.

“We are pleased to announce the opening of Spectacles at The Mercato,” said Dougall McCorkle, Senior Vice President of Commercial Real Estate for The Lutgert Companies. “Spectacles is a great fit for the upscale shops, restaurants, and businesses at The Mercato. Their high profile composition will well serve the patrons of Mercato.”

Owner of two successful optical stores in Naples, Naples Optical and Naples Optical Too, Tipton Lemay established Spectacles as the next evolutionary step in optical eyewear services.
