Boston native Monica Slater has joined Premier Properties of Southwest Florida, Inc.Ò REALTORSÒ’ Sarasota office as a Licensed Sales Agent. Slater has over 25 years of experience in the luxury real estate market. A background in corporate marketing and brand development provides her with an insight for identifying properties with value. Slater’s natural ability to recognize market trends and properties with investment opportunity is an asset in the competitive Sarasota marketplace. She has closed sales on five multi-million dollar waterfront properties in the last two years. Her performance history includes a BS in Economics and an MBA in Marketing from Columbia University in New York and an award-winning career as vice president of marketing with Godiva Chocolatier. She founded her own $12 million national chocolate company and is a graduate of the Sarasota Chamber’s 2003 class of Leadership Sarasota. This past year, Slater co-founded the Women's Initiative of the United Way of Sarasota County. The organization awarded over 500 scholarships to needy pre-kindergarten children. Monica is an active supporter and patron of the Van Wezel art center, and has demonstrated a strong commitment to the Sarasota community and its culture.
