Sarasota - Steve Bailey, vice president and regional manager of Premier Properties of Southwest Florida, Inc. REALTORS Sarasota division, announced Sheryl Vieira has joined the brokerage’s Sarasota office as director of marketing effective October 23. Vieira is a marketing and public relations professional with extensive experience in promotions, advertising, event planning and client relations. She has been acknowledged for her creative approach to both marketing and PR and for her high professional standards.

Sheryl Vieira previously held the position of president of marketing & PR for a Sarasota real estate company that specializes in luxury real estate. Her responsibilities included handling all marketing initiatives, advertising placement in both local and national publications, company web site management, producing all marketing collateral for the sales team and event planning.

“We are extremely pleased to have a professional with Sheryl Vieira’s experience,” said Bailey. “Her background and extensive knowledge of the Sarasota market will enhance Premier’s service capabilities and ultimately benefit our clients.”

Vieira is a member of the Florida Public Relations Association and the Young Professionals Group. She serves as an Advisory Board member for the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central & Northern Florida and is the Public Relations chair for the Junior League of Sarasota’s first cookbook in over twenty years - Simply Sarasota, due to launch this coming November. She recently co-chaired the Clowning Around Town kick-off party for HOSPICE Palliative Care and this past March she co-chaired the Hats & Chukkers Tea and fashion show for All Children’s Hospital Women’s Guild of Sarasota. She has volunteered for other organizations such as All Faiths Food Bank, Sarasota County Arts Council, Asolo Theatre, Breast Cancer Foundation, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Every Child Inc., Girls Inc., The John and Mable Ringling Museum of Art, New Gate School, and Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center.
